There are several different thermostats on the market today and technology has really advanced the selection.

Programmable digital thermostat

This thermostat you can set the temperature to go up or down as needed at anytime you want 7 days a week you could turn it down when you go to work or turn it down when you going to bed at night if you’re going to be away for a few days or a couple of weeks you could program it to have the temperature set down or up while you’re gone. If you have two setbacks per day he will save approximately 10% and your gas and electric bills.


Wi-Fi and programmable digital thermostat

This thermostat is also programmable, and you can set the temperature up or down as needed day or night for Energy savings. You can’t control this thermostat from your smartphone or any desktop computer. If you are out of town, you can check the temperature in your house to be sure that your furnace is working in the wintertime for safety reasons, so your pipes do not freeze.
